How to play Tibiadrome

Tibiadrome is a daily grouping game inspired by the NYT's Connections, made with the creatures of Tibia's bestiary. Each game gives you 16 creatures and asks you to find the 4 hidden connections among them.

The board

There are 16 creatures. Four share a hidden connection, another four share a different one, and so on — 4 groups in total. Select four and tap Submit. If they belong together, the group is revealed with its name.

You start with 4 lives (the Ultimate Healing runes). Each wrong guess costs one; losing all four ends the game. Solve the 4 groups to win.

Image or Name

The same puzzle can be played two ways, switchable at any time:

  • Image — shows the creature sprites, making visual groups (colour, shape, silhouette) easier.
  • Name — hides the sprites and shows only names, pushing you towards what you actually know.

Possible connections

A group can be almost anything that links the creatures. Sometimes it's obvious; sometimes it's sneaky.

  • Type — the creature class (Dragons, Undead, Aquatics…)
  • Difficulty — the bestiary tier (Trivial, Easy… Challenging)
  • Bosses — creatures that are bosses
  • Ranged — attack with bow/arrow/spear
  • Element — immune or weak to an element (fire, energy, death…)
  • Spells — cast a creature spell (Wave, Beam, Berserk…)
  • Heals — cast healing on themselves

Levels: Normal, Hard and Hard+

Difficulty doesn't change the number of lives — it changes which connections groups can come from. Higher levels drop the obvious clues and demand deeper knowledge.

  • Normal — direct connections: type, bosses, difficulty, ranged attack.
  • Hard — type drops out; elemental immunities/weaknesses and healing come in.
  • Hard+ — pure trivia: element, healing and spells (plus difficulty).

Hints

Each level starts with a number of hints: Normal 2, Hard 2, Hard+ 1.

To use one: select 4 creatures and click Hint. Each is tinted with the colour of the group it truly belongs to — so you can see which match. The tint clears when you change the selection.

Puzzle types

Both have a unique solution. What changes is whether there are grouping traps along the way.

  • No overlap — each creature belongs to exactly one group. If you can justify it, it's right.
  • Classic — a creature may fit more than one group; finding the intended split is the challenge.

Daily challenge

A new challenge every day, the same for everyone. The difficulty and type are set by the date. You can play previous days; once finished, it can't be replayed.

💡 At the end of a game, each creature's name and icon link to its page on TibiaWiki.

Unlimited

In ∞ Unlimited mode you play puzzles back-to-back: solve one, the next appears, and your streak grows. Losing a puzzle ends the run.

The run's difficulty and type are whatever is selected when you start. Your best streak is saved per level, on this device.
