Tibiadrome is a free daily puzzle game inspired by the New York Times' Connections, but built entirely from the creatures of Tibia's bestiary — the classic MMORPG by CipSoft. Every day you get 16 creatures and must find the 4 hidden connections that group them.
Every board has 16 creatures in a 4×4 grid. Hidden among them are four groups of four, each united by a shared trait — the creature's type, an elemental immunity, a spell it casts, and so on. Your job is to find all four groups.
You select four creatures you believe belong together and submit. If you're right, the group is revealed with the name of its connection. You start with four lives: each wrong guess costs one, and the game ends when you solve all four groups or lose all four lives.
What makes Tibiadrome tricky is deliberate ambiguity. A creature that looks like an obvious dragon might actually be on the board because of a rare spell it casts. Reading the intent behind each grouping is the heart of the game.
Connections come from real data in Tibia's bestiary. A group can gather creatures of the same type (Dragons, Undead, Aquatics), the same bestiary difficulty, or that share a behaviour: bosses, creatures that attack at range, that heal themselves, that are immune or weak to an element (fire, energy, ice, death…), or that cast a specific spell like Wave, Beam or Berserk.
The harder the level, the more the game drops the obvious clues and demands deep knowledge — on Hard+, groups come almost entirely from trivia like elements, healing and spells.
The Daily Challenge is the same board for everyone, refreshed each day; you can play previous days too. Unlimited mode lets you play puzzles back-to-back in a single run, building a win streak until you slip up. You can also switch between seeing creature sprites or just names, and choose between no-overlap puzzles (more deductive) or classic ones (with ambiguity traps).
Start with the groups you're most sure of — usually type or difficulty. As fewer creatures remain, the hard groups reveal themselves by elimination. Use the hints on higher levels to colour your selection and see which creatures truly match. And remember: in Tibiadrome creature names stay in English, as in the original game, so knowing the bestiary helps.
